ENERGY CONSUMPTION
REDUCTION
Tabreed services have reduced energy consumption in the GCC by more than 1.4 billion kilowatt hours annually. This is enough electricity to power approximately 48,000 homes every year.
CO2 EMISSIONS
PREVENTION
This reduction in energy consumption, achieved by employing district cooling instead of conventional air conditioning, has prevented the release into the atmosphere of over 713,000 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, the equivalent of eliminating the emissions of 143,000 vehicles annually.
