Ahmed Yahia Al Idrissi is the Chief Executive Officer of Technology, Manufacturing & Mining for Mubadala, with oversight of the company’s semiconductor and mining portfolios. He is also a member of Mubadala’s Investment Committee.

Before joining Mubadala, Mr. Al Idrissi was a partner at McKinsey & Company, where he led the Abu Dhabi and Principal Investor practices. He was also a Marketing Manager at Procter & Gamble, where he led several flagship brands. Mr. Al Idrissi is Chairman of GLOBALFOUNDRIES and Minas de Aguas Teñidas (Minesa), and Board Member of Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar), Emirates Global Aluminium, Mubadala Petroleum, Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) and TM Mining Ventures, S.L. (MATSA).

Mr. Al Idrissi holds a Master of Science degree from MIT in Mechanical Engineering/Product Strategy and an Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering from the Ecole Centrale Paris, both with highest honors. While at MIT, he received the J. W. F. Foreign Scholarship Board award for academic excellence.
